Walmart Git Cards - how to use them, how to juggle them
Walmart gift cards can be used at Walmart stores, Sam's Club stores, walmart.com, samsclub.com, or Murphy's Oil gas stations.

Remember, no matter what site you earn gift cards on, as soon as you are paid, get those payments off your accounts. You have three options:
1. Print them out
2. Save any links and secret access codes to a file on your computer or cloud, somewhere you can access them later
3. Add them to your store account, like Amazon, Target, Walmart.

Gift Card Exchange
As of December 2014 you can now exchange some other retailers gift cards for Walmart gift cards. Just like any other exchange site, Walmart will take a percentage of the face value of your gift card. To learn more, and see what Walmart will pay for your gift card, please visit

Printed e-gift cards
You can simply print the e-gift card you receive from any site and use them in store. They are used just like a regular plastic store card and there are instructions for the cashier printed on the paper. If a cashier gives you any issues, ask to see a manager. These are real gift cards and they should be accepted at any Walmart or Sam's Club location

Storing e-gift cards to your online account
Under your account page at walmart.com, click Gift Card/Bonus Offer Balances, then 'Add a gift card'. Paste the 16 digit e-gift card code and the four digit security code. You can save up to five e-gift cards to your account.

Using e-gift cards online
Once you place your order you select the gift card payment option. If you have saved e-gift cards to your account already, just select which one you want to use. If you have not saved any to account, just paste the 16 digit gift card code and the four digit security code where prompted. You can only use up to 4 gift cards per order.

You do not need to save e-gift cards to account to be able to use them for an order you want to place. You can use a combination of saved ones and ones you add for payment that day, you can use any combination of payment options.

If you only use part of the amount on your gift card the balance will be stored on your account for you (if you have room), or you can just use the balance for another online order, or you can still take your paper print-out to the store to use the balance.

Combining and buying gift cards with gift cards
As of November 2015 you are no longer able to purchase Walmart plastic or e-gift cards on Walmart.com. If you want to buy a plastic card, take your walmart gift card codes and pins (or printouts) to the service desk at a Walmart store, You may need to explain that this has been approved by corporate, and that you are no longer able to do this online. They shouldnt give you a problem.

Reloading plastic gift cards
You can not reload plastic gift cards with e-gift cards at walmart.com. You can take them to a customer service desk in store and ask if they can do it for you. Some people have had no problem doing this, other have. It probably depends on how competent your customer service representative is. Remember, you can always ask for a manager.

Q-Mee Search

Qmee is an add-on for Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Internet Explorer that pays you for searching on Google, Bing, Amazon and Ebay, Walmart, etc.  You will need an invite to join the site.

To earn money on Qmee you simply search just as you do normally on Google or Bing. On Amazon or Ebay you will often get ads randomly opening pages to different products.  Add will appear on the far left hand side.  The ads do go away after about 15 seconds so if one interests you make sure to click or the ad will disappear.

To cashout on qmee you will just need $0.01 in your account balance.  Most of the ads pay a minimum of $0.05.  Click the Qmee icon wherever it appears on your browser.  Usually it defaults to the upper right hand corner. From here you can easily cashout.  We recommend you cash out often, just because we can never be sure how long a site like this will last. Just click cash out my piggybank

There are three options to cashout. Paypal and Charity Donations need a minimum balance of $0.01, Gift cards need a minimum balance of $5.  Select the option you want.  For Paypal you will need to enter your paypal information once it will then be saved and you get instant payments every time without re-entering your information.  There may sometimes be delays with paypal but you should receive payment within 5 minutes.

TIPS:

If you search too much you will stop getting results. You will get best results searching one or two things a couple times a day. Stop trying to exploit it and leave it alone for a couple days.

If you stop getting searches at all you can try installing the extension on another browser.

If you do Bing Rewards, or some other activity that require you to do a lot of searching, be sure to disable your qmee extension, for the reason above.

You will get the best results if you search like terms, for example electronics, tablets, and phones in a search period. Searching shoes, hardware stores and hotels will not net you best results and qmee will stop providing results.

The purpose of this list is to help members find very affordable devices for running Swagbucks apps and the PerkTV app. They do not need to be activated and you do not need to purchase any phone plans, all of these devices can run the apps using just your home Wi-Fi

We recommend you use Android devices for all your apps, mainly because they are less expensive, but also because you have access to more with android. Not all Swagbucks apps are available on iOS, and not all short sections are available on Perk TV on iOS. This does not mean you can not use your iOS devices, just that you will  be limited.

Tips on not getting Rejected from Surveys

Ok so a lot of people have been asking for tips on how to get into the surveys without being thrown out. since i seem to say a lot of the same things over and over i thought it would be a good idea to put them into a thread so here are some ideas. i will keep adding as i think of more things.

ALWAYS say that you are the primary shopper in your household. if your not... lie

If asked if you own or rent (or some other option) your home... YOU OWN IT!

you are always over 21 as there are a significant amount of beer surveys. i come across them quite frequently and if u say ur under 21 they obviously will not consider you a viable candidate for their survey.

If you are asked whether you or a family member work in a particular industry say NONE OF THE ABOVE. the reason for this is while they claim that they sometimes are looking for people in certain industries the truth is it is just the opposite. they want people who are unbiased and generally the industries listed are industries that might make you biased. so once again say NONE OF THE ABOVE (or whatever equivalent answer the survey allows)

often times you will come across a list of products that the survey gives u and they ask if u have ever bought or used any of the products. they are asking because one or more of the products are what the survey is about. so since you dont know ahead of time what the product is simple check all answers.
for further information on this sometimes the survey gives the name of the surveying company. for example not too long ago i took a survey that was offered from the national home buyers alliance (NHBA) Knowing this gave me a hint as to what the survey was looking for. (that particular one happened to be about replacement flooring) so sometimes you can rule out the false products (the ones they are not looking for) and thus not check them off. but if you dont feel comfortable you can always check everything.

there are similar situations to the above rule of thumb. for example sometimes they ask if u have used some products within varying amounts of time or if u intend to buy something in the near future. i generally put the closest time frame to the present and it generally works.

even if you get into the surveys the companies have little tricks to try to ensure the quality of the surveys. sometimes surveys will have something in them that will say "for quality control purposes please choose 6" or whatever it happens to be. if u genuinely answer the survey questions then you dont have to worry about these but if ur like me and dont care then skim through the page at the questions and look for anything that resembles the above example and mark the appropriate answer.

If asked have you ever heard of "insert product name here" the answer is yes. they want to see if u actually know what ur talking about when you answer the survey.

If asked if you have used a product answer yes. once again they just want to know that u know what ur talking about.

These are all simply rules of thumbs which i follow and i find to help me get into the surveys. I know there are more things and i will try to add them as i come across them. I dont consider myself special or gifted in surveys but i do believe that because i try to follow these rules of thumbs i tend to be rather successful with surveys. some of these may seem obvious and others may not but i figured if im going to make a thread on this i will be as thorough as i can. I'm posting the obvious not to insult anyone but simply for completeness. So for all of you who have read to this point thank you and good luck with those surveys! they can bring a lot of swagbucks (or whatever the currency is for site u happen to use)

1. First, dont get banned!

Then go to your profiles and change them to reflect your new personality. http://www.swagbucks.com/account/settings?cint=1#tab=surveyProfiles or on PL  by clicking the Settings button top right on that wall.

3. Disqualification

You can be disqualified (DQ) for any number of reasons. You may get DQ'd at any time during the survey, beginning, middle or even after you complete the entire survey.

Sometimes getting DQ'd at the end of a survey means you completed it too fast, so take your time. They want you to read each question in full.

DO NOT contact SB to complain about getting disqualified, not only will they not credit you, they really dont want to hear it.

4. No Credit/Delayed Credit
Not all surveys credit instantly. Almost all of them will tell you you will be credited in some period of time, some say 3-5 days, some say 2-6 weeks. If you get credit instantly, great! but do not expect every survey to do this.

5. Good habit:

If a survey is delayed credit, you should take notes about the survey so you can follow up later. Notes you should make are: Survey number, wall (Gold, Dashboard, PL) survey topic, length of time it states to complete (or the time it took if none provided), and the url of the survey completion page (the page before the SB success page). Train yourself to do this as you take the survey, if you wait until the very end you will not be able to capture the url of the surveys completion page. If you like you can also take a screen shot of the completion page including the url from the address bar.

Be sure to wait the full length of time the success page states for it to credit. If it says 3-5 days, then you must wait the 5 business days before contacting SB.

Frequency

  Swagbucks is NOT a survey site, so you need to find several different ways to earn.

  People have gotten banned from swagbucks for completing too many surveys. We suggest you dont complete more than 3 or 4 a day. Regardless of where the survey was from, or the reward amount, limit the number of completions to 3-4 a day. If you have one or two days where you do one or two more, thats ok, just dont do that every day.

  Peanut Labs surveys - if you try or complete too many surveys in a day you will get a message "Sorry, you've exceeded your survey limit for the moment. Check back soon for more survey opportunities!" Check back tomorrow for more surveys, you may need to wait a full 24 hours.

Profiles

  Please read the other suggestions in this section of the forum for tips how to qualify and get credited for surveys.

  Be sure to update your profiles to reflect these new suggestions

  BE CONSISTENT - Providing answers in surveys that vary greatly from your profiles can get you banned, either from the survey provider or swagbucks, or any site you do surveys on. BE CONSISTENT

  Don't go too fast through the surveys, this can raise flags with the provider and get you less surveys in the future, or banned.

Remember- getting disqualified from surveys is part of the game, You will not always qualify, you may even think qualify and complete the survey and then get disqualified at the end and not get credit. THIS HAPPENS, just brush it off and move on.

      Do not send support tickets for disqualifications, swagbucks has banned people for sending too many support tickets. Remember, they can ban at any time, for any reason.

  If you get a message that you have no surveys, or that you have been banned, this is permanent, it will not clear itself, it will not go away, and do not send support tickets because SB can not help you. You were naughty, you got banned.

To avoid crashes and un-secure add-ons, keep your Flash and Java updated.

Install from drop down menu for ALL browsers you use- after 1st install you can back page to install the next one.

You do not need  to un-install unless Flash Player is not working at all, which means it is corrupted.

Detailed Flash uninstall instructions:

For best results, you will want to have both Internet Explorer & Firefox closed while doing this.

1. Go to Control Panel, type ?flash? in upper right box to locate the Flash applet.  Click ?delete all?? on Storage tab, then check both boxes and click the ?Delete Data? button. Close the applet & Control Panel

2. Re-open Control Panel, open "Uninstall a program." Uninstall Adobe Flash Player - if you have 2 variants, remove them both. Close Control Panel.

3. For these steps, hold down the Windows key and press R to launch the Run box (windows key is 2 keys to left of space bar).

a. copy and paste the path "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed"
click <OK>, delete all the files and folders there.

b. copy and paste the path "C:\Windows\System32\Macromed", click <OK>, delete all the files and folders there.

c. copy and paste the path "c:\users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia", click <OK>, delete all the files and folders there.

d. copy and paste the path "c:\users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Flash Player", click <OK>, delete all the files and folders there.

 e. copy and paste the path "c:\users\%username%\AppData\Local\Macromedia", click <OK>, delete all the files and folders there.

f. copy and paste the path "C:\Users\administrator\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia", click <OK>, delete all the files and folders there.

g. copy and paste the path "C:\Users\administrator\AppData\Local\Macromedia", click <OK>, delete all the files and folders there

 h. copy and paste the path "C:\Users\administrator\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\FlashPlayer", click <OK>, delete all the files and folders there.

4. Finally, open Internet Explorer, go to Adobe's webesite and reinstall Adobe Flash Player for it.
  
The Beta FlashDebug plug in update for Chrome/Opera will cause Shockwave to crash, if anyone has that probelm it has to be disabled in browser plugins or uninstalled, either one will stop the crashes.

**Flash crashing on Firefox? Try this:
Got to Firefox > Tools > Add-ons > Shockwave Flash > Options - uncheck Enable Adobe Flash protected mode. That should aleviate most of flash crashes (ty to tequila for this tip)






JAVA - You can get latest version (and correct one for your machine) by clicking big red button on www.java.com. 
The only browser window you should have open when doing install is the one you start the download from. It may tell you to close others.

Java install will likely cause security warnings first time you use it for something, click allow and remember to stop them.

How to take Screen Shots

If you are using Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 8.1 you can use the built in Snipping tool to create screenshots.  You can then upload the pictures to various sites.  http://imgur.com and http://tinypic.com are recommended as they don't require sign ups.

There are a few good screenshot programs you can install on your computer and use them for any program.

Lightshot

The most commonly used program on Sbcodez is Lightshot.  You can either upload screenshots directly or edit them before you upload.

To use simply press the prt sc button on your keyboard and you can then choose an area on your screen to upload. Just click the button with the cloud that has an up arrow on it to upload your screenshot without making any changes.
